Fishing mosquito children by a syringe

Left: Ask an adult to buy an insulin syringe for you (available in a pharmacy). Its front has to be cut off together with the needle.
Protect the graduation on the syringe by a piece of transparent tape.
Mosquito children can be collected from rain drums by means of a tea strainer.
Middle: All our 15 children in Egypt   were skilful in fishing these small animals from their big aquaria cut from mineral water bottles. They learned how to fill their  "fishing" syringe and how to transfer it into their small 5-ml bottles.
Right: 15 labled bottles with small "worms" and "dots" were kept after a working period of less than half an hour. Each child kept its micro aquarium which was closed in such a way that fresh air could enter and no mosquitoes could leave.
