In his Chrstmas lecture for children "Chemical history of a candle" the famous physicist Michael Faraday asked questions to nature like: How does the flame get hold of the fuel?" By simple and safe experiments he taught children to observe phenomena, and to understand them. More than twenty years ago Gisela Lück introduced science experimentation in German kindergarten.
