Strips of 7 different plastics
from various types of packing materials hang up on a wire by a wire hook:
1
PET 2 PE-HD 3 PVC
4 PE-LD 5 PP
6 PS 6 EPS .
The surface under these
strips is protected by aluminium.
* All strips
except PVC can be easily ignited by a burning match.
* They burn in a characteristic
way, some are smoking black, others drip.
When combustion
takes place in a special furnace, plastic waste materials can be burnt
ecologically
friendly for heat production.
