Fu 08 Diesel dissolves wax at higher temperatures

* Half fill a 3-ml
   vial with Diesel fuel.
* Left: Add some crumbs of wax and close.   * Keep the mixture in warm water and shake.
* Measure the temperature at which the liquid solidifies.
Observations: Middle  Diesel fuel dissolves wax at a temperature of 39°C.
Right: At a temperature of 20°C the liquid solidifies.
There is a rule: Similar substances dissolve each other.
