Fu 09 Liquid gas, Diesel and wax are HYDROCARBONS

Hydrocarbons are gaseous, liquid and solid substances with molecules made of hydrogen atoms and of carbon atoms. Natural gas, liquid gas, petrol, Diesel and wax are examples of hydrocarbons.
a * Take black plastic beads as models of carbon atoms
and white beads as models of hydrogen atoms.
* By welding and by wire connection you can make models of  hydrocarbon molecules from them.
   1. One molecule of  natural gas   (CH4) : 1 black and 4 white beads.
   2. One molecule of  liquid gas (C4H10): 4 black and 10 white beads.
3.-5.Three molecules in petrol   (C8H18): 8 black and 18 or 16 white beads.
   6. One molecule in  Diesel    (C16H34):16 black and 34 white beads.
