Neutralisation  is an acid base reaction in which the acidic properties of an acid are removed by the alkaline reaction of a base.

* During neutralisation of vinegar by lime water the H+ions of vinegar are react with the OH- ions
of the base to form water molecules.
* During  reaction of "hydrochloric acid" gas and ammonia gas the H+ions react with the ammonia
(NH3) molecules to form ammonium (NH4+) ions.
