In
your environment lime stone appears in countless shapes: White
fur in a kettle on a boiler, in a wash-basin, in the shower, building
materials not only for men but also for a huge number of different
animals:

a gas that makes lime water milky.
Explanation:
The gas must be carbon dioxide [CO2], because lime
water is an indicator for this gas.
The gas carbon dioxide
was made from limestone, so this substance must be a compound containing
C and O.
